The 2023 Wine Industry Impact Awards’ (WIIA) winners were announced on Tuesday 28 November to great fanfare at the WIIA Gala Dinner held at Adelaide Oval.
The overall standard of submissions was noted to be exceptionally high which is testament to the quality and innovation delivered by the wine supply sector. The Awards recognise and congratulate excellence and innovation in the wine industry supply chain.
The Awards program highlights where progress happens in creating new opportunities to articulate the innovative solutions that are happening and how their practical adoption can help with efficiency, sustainability, quality, recovery, risk mitigation, brand development, safety and more.
The Hon. Minister Clare Scriven, South Australian Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development outlined for Gala Dinner attendees the benefits that Adelaide has enjoyed as a Great Wine Capital being part of a network of wine regions that span old and new world tastes and offer an exceptional guide to international wine tourism travel experiences.
Corrina Wright of Olivers Taranga of McLaren Vale brought great humour and personality to the event as Gala Dinner MC.
Congratulations to the 2023 Award winners in a tight field of exceptional entrants:
