MEDIA RELEASE: Thursday 20 November 2025
Celebrating 25 years of WISA: innovation, collaboration, and excellence across the wine value chain
This year marks a special milestone for the Wine Industry Suppliers Association (WISA), as it celebrates 25 years as an association. To commemorate this legacy, WISA is thrilled to announce the winners of the 2025 Wine Industry Impact Awards — recognising supplier businesses whose products, services, and innovations create positive change, drive collaboration, and leave a lasting impact across the value chain.
The awards evening was officially opened by Hon. Justin Hanson MLC, who welcomed guests and highlighted the importance of collaboration and innovation across the wine industry. The night was expertly hosted by Brendan Carter, co-owner of Unico Zelo and Bottle Shock, whose inspiring words and fun wine options game kept guests entertained and engaged throughout the evening.
WISA Executive Chair, Liz Schoen, said, “Tonight we celebrate the remarkable talent, innovation, and collaboration that drives our industry forward. I want to especially thank our expert panel of judges, who faced the challenging task of comparing nominations that were so diverse—a true reflection of our multifaceted industry, where art, science, innovation, and collaboration intersect. The scoring was extremely close across all categories, and every finalist submitted a worthy nomination. I strongly encourage winemakers, owners, brand managers, and anyone looking to optimise their 2026 vintage to read more about these innovations and reach out to me if you would like introductions.”
