Adelaide to host Direct to Consumer Wine Marketing Conference

Wine Industry Suppliers Australia (WISA) announces the launch the Wine Industry IMPACT Conference, ‘Making A Direct IMPACT’, to be held in Adelaide on the 18th October 2018

WISA Executive Officer Matthew Moate said the inaugural conference is particularly timely as Australian wineries look to expand their direct sales activities

“WISA is focused on building the capability and competitiveness of grape and wine producers across the value chain including sales and tourism channels” says Moate.  “This conference will bring wine producers and suppliers together to achieve higher margins and profitability for long term sustainability of brands and their business.”

From the United States, DTC expert Sandra Hess from DTC Wine Workshops has been confirmed as a keynote speaker for the conference.

Moate added: “As winery branding and marketing becomes more highly sophisticated there is a growing importance in making decisions around DTC strategy based on sound data”

“Wineries of all sizes will benefit from this conference to maximise the effectiveness of their consumer touch points either virtually or in the real world.”

The second confirmed keynote speaker is Charlotte Prouse from Destination Marketing Store, who will deliver an insightful presentation around global tourism and consumer trends gained at the SKIFT Global Forum (New York, September 2018).

Delegates have the option to combine their conference experience with the annual Wine Industry IMPACT Awards Dinner on the evening of 18th October.  For those keen to discover a selection of South Australian wine businesses currently creating a major regional impact, a road trip is scheduled for the following day, Friday 19 October.

Early bird tickets will be available from the 1 Augusts to 31 Augusts.
