Innovation to Supercharge DTC Sales

A broad range of wine industry-specific product and service providers will participate in the Business Zone at the upcoming Wine Industry Impact Conference in Adelaide on October 18.

Delegates will have the opportunity to explore and discover ways to improve capability and competitiveness in the areas of marketing, commercial services, risk management, human resources and associated value-added products at the one-day conference.

Representatives from leading independent booking and distribution system REZDY will be on hand to show delegates how to directly market wine-related experiences to a global audience. Langton’s, known for their innovation in wine classification, auction and DTC services will explain how wineries can leverage Australia’s leading fine wine marketplace and IntegraPay will demonstrate innovative and simple payment collection solutions.

Digital customer relationship management and ecommerce specialist vinCreative were early to sign up as major partners to this unique event and will also be exhibiting.

“This conference is the best opportunity for wineries to see the latest tech to drive their consumer engagement and sales” says Mick Clarke, vinCreative’s Commercial Manager. “We’re adding to the excitement by offering a free draw to win a vinGrand set-up package valued at $4999, a product which offers a unified solution to drive direct-to-consumer sales.”

Featuring a comprehensive speaker program and panel-style workshops, the inaugural conference will focus on the burgeoning importance of the direct to consumer sales channel in Australia.  Topics covered include Cellar Doors, Visitor Experience, Data Insights and Analytics, Customer Engagement, Online Sales Strategies and Interactive Marketing.

Event host Wine Industry Suppliers Australia (WISA) Executive Officer Matthew Moate believes that, as growing numbers of suppliers seek to support significant investment by wineries in the direct to consumer space, a platform for engagement is necessary.

“The significant early interest shown by wine industry professionals from across Australia has confirmed the need for this event” he said “It's the first opportunity to drive a national conversation about meeting the needs of wine consumers in a future that will require tech-driven solutions to support more personalised customer engagement”

The Wine Industry Impact Conference will take place at the Hotel Grand Chancellor, Hindley Street Adelaide on Thursday 18th October 2018.
